Kalinga Electrical Industries has come up with a high quality products

There is a consistent effort to maintain the quality of our products at
Kalinga Electrical Industries & is fully geared to maintain its
present position by updating the technology constantly and keeping abreast
of the development worldwide.
According to the latest study almost 99% of the wires & Cables are made
of PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) that emit > 20% of Halogen Gas, Therefore
PVC and its products are hazardous to human health and environment. It is
found that more than 80% of people killed in fire die due to suffocation and
even in some cases by inhalation of toxic gases. Burning of PVC generates a
thick dense smoke which blocks the exit signs and leads to suffocation in
that area. Also PVC emits corrosive and acidic gases while burning which can
lead to substantial damage in equipment. It also emits dioxins which can
cause Cancer.
Safety nowadays is the key issue for manufacturers and users of wires and
cables - be it safety in terms of human life, Safety in terms of toxic gases
or safety in terms of envi ronment.

lntroducing for the first time K-PLATINUM(HR-FR, 105°C)
Normal PVC used in cables are hazardous to human health and environment FR
Compound used in K-PLATINUM (HR-FR) has an advantage over ordinary PVC as it
has Fire retardent quality and are suitable for maximum operating
temperature of 70°C, but K-PLATINUM HR - FR (105°C) CAN operate
upto 105° C enhancing the life of electrical systems & thus
protects from short circuit due to overheating caused by over load.

"KALINGA
® PLATINUM" Heat Resistant - Flame Retardant Low Smoke (105°
HRFRLS)
FR PVC compound has better fire retardant properties than ordinary PVC but
its smoke and toxic gas emission is still much higher and has not served the
purpose of modern safety requirements. FRLS Compound offers better
properties for Flame retardant combined with lower smoke and acid fume
emission. It has been observed that maximum causalities in fire are caused
due to chocking and stampedes due to emission of highly toxic fumes of
hydrogen chloride acid gas, and has always been a threat to human in high
density areas as this reduces visibility thus hampers rescue operation.
K-PLATINUM (105°C, HR - FRLS) cables overcome this as they are low on
halogen contents which ensures better visibility and emition of non toxic
gases in case of an eventuality and also retards the spread of fire. The
consultants are now commonly specifying FRLS Wires.
K-PLATINUM (HR - FRLS) Single Core, Unsheathed Wires in Voltage Grade

has introduced - ECO FRIENDLY NEW GENERATION (HALOGEN FREE LOW SMOKE) WIRES.
"KALINGA®
PLATINUM" (HFLS) CABLES - XTRA SAFE - ECO SAFE & MARK OF SAFTEY
Now a days FR (Flame Retardant) & FRLS (Flame Retardant Low Smoke)
wires are also widely used. Howeverthese FR/FRLS wires release Halogen,
Toxicand Corrosive gasscs in the event of fire causing a strong smell &
eventually lead to suffocation.
K-PLATINUM (HFLS) Halogen Free Cables are the final word in safety. These
cables are made of special compound which emits no Halogen gas on burning.
It has very low emission of non toxic & translucent gases in case of
fire, thereby maximizing chances of rescue. This is the ultimate product for
best safety and highly recommended for every important buildings mainly
Hospitals, Airports, Schools, Cinema Halls, Shopping Malls, Industries and
